- 2003 Niepoort Douro Redoma - Portugal, Douro (4/19/2010)
I last had this just over 3 years ago and I gotta say I like it a bit better then. This was a very hot year in the Douro and this wine is now starting to show a bit to rich as if it is losing its complexity and becoming more monolithic with almost overripe fruit. Still very enjoyable but another one I'd recommend drinking sooner rather than later. I may seem a bit critical, but this seems to be going backward as it develops which isn't a good sign. 90 Points (90 pts.)
