Medium dark red. Surprisingly not as dark as the 1980 Graham tasted alongside. Lovely perfumed nose with hints of dates and plums. Fine grained tannins with well integrated alcohol leads to a subtle warm finish. Nicely complex, finishing with some cigar smoke / sweet tobacco and showing some power on the tannins. Always a crowd pleaser and very good tonight. 93 points
