Bottled 2000.
Full tawny. Aromas of stewed fruit, toasted nuts, butterscotch, and an exotic spicyness that I enjoyed.
Medium bodied on the palate, sweet. Much more balanced than the 1965 with better cut. Nice finish. Definitely an improvement over the 65. Improved with aeration.
The next day, this has improved even more. Even better balance. That acidic cut makes the wine quite mouthwatering. I could sip this all night. 93 points on day 2.
