Bottled 2010, and served at the L.A. Offline Oscar Quevedo Dinner.
Red brown, slightly more brown at the edge; clear. Slight medicinal aroma, some tawny aroma. Deep cherry and black currant. Later, sweet caramel. 90 points.
This was perhaps overshadowed by the 1975 Quevedo Colheita Port served at the same dinner that was just wonderful. I think this 1996 with 2010 bottling might have more upside potential if tasted again; and I think future bottlings have great potential.

Re: 1996 Quevedo Colheita Port
I am interested in your opinion Eric and that of others who have tried the 1996 now. How was my portrayal in the newsletter TN vs. what you experienced?
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
