Port business picking up?

Post by Tom D. »

I sent an inquirty to Sokolin a while back, asking for information on the condtion of a couple bottles of older VP listed for sale on their retail website. No reply. Maybe the wine business is picking up -- or maybe customer service is getting worse...

Tom,

Call them, they are good people, but sometimes not the best by email to those they don't know.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

I thought of that Roy, and I've had good luck with Sokolin in the past. But as a
business owner myself, when someone is in business to sell me something
and take my money, I don't like the idea of having to do the work for them :snooty:

Besides, it worked out in the end. Instead, I picked up
an old bottle of Taylor VP that I had been eyeing at HDH for some time [cheers.gif]

Any relationship between Sokolin Wine and Daniel Sokolin of the Royal Wine Merchants??
