Decant: 4 hours - Slightly cloudy, difficult to see through the centre, pink on the rim. The nose is musty, hot and spirity. Peppery when it first encounters the tongue with a good balance apart from a real bite of acidity on the tip of the tongue; wonderful fruit develops in the mid-palate. Very pleasant to hold in the mouth. The aftertaste is sbdued, plenty goes on but it is not big and attention garbbing. An enjoyable and pleasant port. (Dominic Symington believes that this could be the same blend as the Kopke.) 88 points
