Decant: 2 hours - Dark red in colour, a transparent centre and a rim just starting to show a little bricking. Nosing strongly of cigars and bramble fruit - promising much. Very sweet in the mouth, full of fruit but also full of fairly brutal tannins. Tannins dominate the aftertaste and lead on to a big finish that just doesn't end. A huge wine that is decades from maturity. 95 points
