TN: 1970 Gould Campbell Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Very slightly lighter than the Fonseca shown alongside, paling rim. Not too much coming through on the nose, what there is is distinctly fruity but with also an unexpected twist of mint. Big, soft and fruity entry to the palate which lets the structural acidity through in a balanced way. Delicious start to the flavours. Working with air makes it much better and releases lots of nuances and subtleties to the flavours. The aftertaste is tingling and of dark chocolate and raisins. This is very nice port. 93 points
