Decant: 3 hours - Pale rose red, clear and lightly coloured , holding colour well for its age. Raspberries on the nose, with some rose hip syrup but also some alcohol showing through. Surprisingly sweet and silky in the mouth, but with flavours reminiscent of bland bubble gum. A lot of work in the mouth reveals more of the sweet raspberry cordial. The sweet candy flavour carries through to a long and lingering caress, although slightly heavy and surprisingly cloying; disappointingly unbalanced and difficult to judge. 89 points
