Decant: 4 hours - Dark red, transparent centre but a very promising colour. A warm nose of stewed plums, others picked up VA but that was not apparent to me. A full mouthfeel and very pleasant flavours but with a real bite of acidity on the tip of the tongue. Full of fruit in the mouth. The aftertaste is bigger than the Barros shown alongside, very pleasant and lingering. Dominic Symington believes that this might be the same blend as was bottled under the Barros label. 88 points
