TN: 1970 Martinez Vintage Port

Decant: 4 hours - Good colour, transparent but attractive. Not much on the nose, perhaps some white pepper showing from the spirit. Rich, Christmassy flavours in the mouth but the texture is lighter and thinner than the Calem and Foz. Lovely and lively mid-palate with some enjoyable development. Very lovely aftertaste, with plenty of fruit and some terrific buttery shortbread. 89 points
