TN: 1970 Morgan Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Mid red colour, easily transparent centre, mid coloured rim. A lovely nose full of clover honey, very sweet and promising. In the mouth the texture is thin and acidic, with the acidity bringing bitterness amidst some reasonable fruit. The aftertaste is slow to develop but does eventually deliver a cheek puckering flavour but there is still something missing in it. 86 points
