TN: 1937 Quinta do Noval Colheita Port

Decant: None - Bottled 1998. Slightly cloudy, honey coloured with a hint of green on the rim. A dusty nose, lots of spirit and a small dose of VA but with some pleasant honey underneath all of this. Orange juice on entry followed by some nice layers of flavour build-up - caramel, grapefruit. Strange finish, not a lot there but it leaves a warm glow down the throat and some residual sugar flavours around the teeth. The level of the acidity worries me but overall this is a good wine. 92 points
