Decant: None - Bottled 1984. Cloudy appearance, lots of particles in the wine, pale centre that holds into the rim. A nose of honey and dust with some floral tones. Dinstinctly more on the nose that the same wine bottled 5 years earlier. Again a very smooth entry - more acidity than the 1979 bottling but less complexity. The aftertaste on this bottling was much better than the 1979 bottling and lasted a long time with several different layers of flavour coming through. 94 points
