Decant: 6 hours - On the darker side of mid-red with a lighter rim. Subdued on the nose, with little coming through but so sweet and rich in the mouth. This really fills the mouth with generous doses of spiced fruit and some gentle tannins. Quite lovely to taste. The aftertaste is cheek-drying but beautifully balanced, which starts off at modest proportions but then suddenly grows to a big presence and stays that way for quite a long time. 91 points
