TN: 1960 Taylor Vintage Port

Decant: 24 hours - Hedges & Butler bottled, fill to base of neck. Light in colour; a glowing burnt sienna. Sweet aniseed on the nose, slighty hot. Very thick texture in the mouth, showing sweet raisins and golden sultanas (which others described as damsons). A wonderful aftertaste; a very hot burst immediately on swallowing, followed by a long and flavoursome finish. Very enjoyable, lovely drinking but still a powerful beast of a port. 88 points
