Decant: 8 hours - From a rewaxed bottle with a low shoulder fill. Dark brown, with only the faintest hint of red in the colour. Nosing slightly medicinal and of tart cranberries. Slightly sour entry, but then showing dark sugar and a dry cranberry. Tannins are almost, but not completely, integrated. Thick in texture and full of dried berry fruits. Big warm start to the aftertaste, which fades quickly to leave a lingering taste of burnt sugar and caramelised orange zest. Quite delicious. 89 points
