TN: 1970 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 1 hour - A lovely clear red colour, holding into the rim. Slight farmyard hint on the nose, slightly spicy with coriander and redcurrant. Initially sweet and fruity but tannins are still strongly present. Lots of fruit in the wine and a mouthwatering acidity. This port has great balance but still needs more time. The aftertaste fades quickly but it is very pleasant while it lasts. This will be better in 10 years time. 90 points
