TN: 1970 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Deep mid-red colour wirh a transparent centre and an orange rim. A slightly funky nose, perhaps a touch of bottle stink over the top of some over-ripe strawberry fruit. Lovely poised flavours in the mouth; big and growing bigger with a lovely mixture of raisins and sweet red raspberries. There is a wonderful warm and fruity aftertaste that is big and of good length. If only the nose had been better... 90 points
