Decant: 4 hours - Deep red, opaque centre, scarlet rim. Restrained on the nose; nettles and blackcurrants. Grows in the glass but remains slightly harsh. Sweet and fruity - masses of fruit. A lovely elegance and balance between fruit, acidity and tannis. The tannins are firm but not dominant while the fruit grows and reveals a wonderful perfume and floral tone. Swallowing shows some heat, but leaves a sweet and sticky fruit-jelly aftertaste which is big and long-lasting. Delightful, elegant and with the ingredients to be a really impressive wine when mature. 92 points
