1934 Fonseca Vintage Port

Post by David Spriggs »

Tasted July 31st 2010 at the FTLOP 5th Year Anniversary
Imported by Sejbel in 1975. Bottled by Arthur Bell.
Light ruby color. Amber rim. Dusty nose. Touch of wood. Wow! Big wine! Super impressive. There is a lot more going on here than I would have thought. Mouthfilling with a long, long finish. Definitely a spirty finish, but it's not too distracting. Still I have to deduct a couple of points for that. Great wine! 95 Points

This was in great shape with a low-mid neck fill level. The last one I opened was not this good. Glad it showed well.
