2004 Quinta do Portal LBV

Bottle was decanted (some sediments) one hour before drinking. Deep dark red colour. Strong and delicious aroma of dark berries with a touch of oak. Full body. Powerful with noticeable tannins, but still quite smooth taste with a lot of fruit. Long finish. One of the better LBVs with the newer style having still sediments in the bottle. 90 pts.
