I was engrossed in conversation while drinking this and took no notes. I did have several glasses of it though and quite liked it.

I had this red wine for lunch on Saturday 2nd October (day before FTLOP Harvest Tour started) together with some Portuguese friends at the same restaurant where we had the farewell dinner one week later. My tasting notes:

Medium dark to darker red colour with a distinct purple rim. Fresh and appealing aroma of dark berries. Medium body. Taste of berries with vanilla. A kind easy drinking (but not boring) red wine perfect for meat, and I would guess even on it's own. 89 pts.
