1994 Osbourne LBVP
Tasted 11/25/2010, excellent cork, garnet with orange rim color, bottled 1999, on opening sweet cherry-currant nose, clean mulberry-mocha, raisin flavors. At 60 minutes sweet cherry, currant, mocha nose with mellow, integrated, sweet currant, cassis, mocha flavors with an oak accent, alcohol well integrated and still had some tannins (slight) buried in the finish. An excellent compromise against the prices of vintage ports, trading less intensity and complexity for earlier consumption. This is ready now but will hold for another five to ten years but might not improve since it is pretty enjoyable right now. 89 points.
