1992 Warre's Quinta da Cavadinha Vintage Port

Opened this last night without any decanting and for about 2 hours it had a large amount of cedar and licorice dominating the whole thing, reminding me very much of some older Quinta dos Malvedos Ports. Now some 16 hours later the cedar has gone yet the licorice has remained. Soft initially, this has some sharpness and medicinal notes on the finish which is still showing some excess heat and I find it a bit simple overall. My prior note on this from October 2009 mentions that Miles from Quinta da Cavadinha refered to it as "industrial", a term I would have to agree with.
