An inexpensive Douro wine from Quinta do Crasto, being the most entry level Douro wine they produce. The newer label and capsule design is far more attractive and gives a much needed face lift over the old one. Medium bodied with plenty of red fruit, some smokiness, light but present tannins, and tangy acidity keeping it fresh. Pretty straight forward but with enough to keep it interesting as an easy sipper. Not being a wine meant to age, best to drink this in the next year or two to capture it at it's best.
