1985 Fonseca Vintage Port

Color: Medium purple, nicely clear
Nose: Ripe purple fruits.
Palate: Good tannins, black and purple fruits, good acidity. Probably Fonseca.
Finish: Good grip, a slightly soapy note, and good length.
Score: 94 points. I just looked at Roy and nodded, and he nodded back. This one's pretty easy to pick out of a lineup. I suspect that in another 10 years I'll be rating this 2-3 points higher, if not more. It might get 4 more points in 20 years.
