I have seen this as low as $65 in the past few years, but apparently that was a while ago as $79 seems about as good as it gets today in the United States. I received an e-mail from them indicating they have 15 cases to sell, with delivery in the fall. The e-mail featured one of Roy's tasting notes, and even had a picture of him. I'm not sure if I will jump at this, but put it out for your consideration. I have no financial interest in this, but have been a very satisfied Blicker Pierce (Wagner) customer in the past.

Re: 1994 DOW'S Vintage Port $79
Eric,
Looking back only makes one feel nostalgic. I bought my cases when it was on pre-release for under $30 back in the day. We'll never see a price like that again. The retailer is a great source of wine, (regardless of them using my score/photo ... whatever).
I did find it funny that I was considered the "conservative" on of the group of Port critics quoted:
1994 DOW'S Vintage Port $79!!! WS97, WA97, RP96, RH95
To contact Blicker Pierce: 707-967-0240 ... those 15 cases will be gone by tomorrow.
Disclosure: I have purchased wine from this retailer but have zero financial interest in their offerings ... ever.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

An absolutely wonderful wine. One of my all time favorites. A guy from work contacted me after he had tasted this at a tasting. It blew his and his girlfriends mind and he had to find some. It really turned him into a Port fanatic.
