Bottled in 2007. A medium brown that is just starting to get a little hazy and with a nose full of maple syrup and old wood stain. Loads of tea, brown sugar, and maple dominate this sweet bodied Port which holds the good side of a fine line with it's lower acidity. There's just enough dried wood components to keep this in the realm of a 20 year tawny profile.

Nice tasting note! You really painted a picture and it sounds as though this was a delightful, well made, 20 year old. I don't see much Barros, but if I do run across a bottle I might just give it a try.

Yeah, this is one you don't get to see too often, especially stateside. Thanks for the TN Andy!
