Got an e-mail from EWR. Never heard of Adams. Has anyone?

Yeah we had a 1955 Adams at the 55@55 horizontal in London last year. As I recall, it was one of the surprises (at least for me) of the lineup. 2nd darkest of all the Ports according to my notes, and it looks like I had it 2nd overall for WOTN vs some pretty stellar competition.

Adams are an old UK wine merchant. Their wines can vary in quality - the '55 that Glenn refers to was very good, the 1963 is from Carvalhas so is very light and tertiary. I've not tried any other vintages.

That Adam's 1955 was a very fine Port indeed.
