1982 Churchill Vintage Port

Decant: 22 hours - 90% opaque, showing as a modest red in the early stages fo maturity. Slightly corked on the nose, but still showing fruit under the TCA. Sweet entry, but with little fruit; the fruit is also restrained on the mid-palate. Very dry and powdery tannins. Dry aftertaste; chalky and dry finish of really good length. I wonder how much fruit the TCA has pulled out of this? 86 points
