1985 Churchill Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 2 hours - Mid red, still very deep; 90% opaque. Lovely on the nose, full of attractive herbs and perhaps a little VA. Medium bodied entry, bringing sweet and candied strawberries with delicate tannins. Lovely development of flvours with a modest acidic backbone and an elegant balance. Slightly enpty on the aftertaste that fills quickly and goes on to a long, sweet finish. This port has a lovely elegance and balance, and provides delicious drinking today or for the next decade.
