1963 Ferreira Vintage Port

Decant: 5 hours - Light in colour, a burnt orange. 20% opaque. Sweet cordial on the nose, full of rosemary spice. Sweet entry, with little fruit and a bit of heat showing. The fruit is quite faded, showing little more than soft brown sugar. Milky coffee on the afetrtaste, dry cheeks on the finish and a lovely nutmeg spiciness to the finish. The afteraste is long and elegant. 84 points
