1963 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 1 hour - Ex-cellars from Vila Nova de Gaia. Very slightly darker and more opaque than the Dow 1963 shown alongside, but barely discernable. Beautiful nose, less pronounced than the '66s. Lots of leather, meat juices and redcurrants. Sweet fruit entry, some fierce acidity struggling to show through all the fruit. Mouthfilling and intense flavours and gentle tannins. The tannins grip more firmly on the aftertaste and finish but there is so much fruit. Absolutely delightful. 94 points
