2007 De Krans Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - De Kraans Cape Vintage Reserve 2007, Calitzdorp, South Africa. Deep red colour, closed on the nose. Fruity palate with a strange soapy tone and a very tannic core although the fruit dominates late. The soapiness if offputting. The aftertaste is stalky and green with the soapy fruit dominating the finish. Not a wine for my taste. 80 points
