Decant: 30 minutes - Removed from cask about 30 minutes prior to drinking. The 40 year old blend includes about 60% of this wine. Deep brown in colour with aslight greening on the rim. A big nose, full of black treacle. Very thick consistency, full of sweet dates and dried figs on the palate, with a solid dose of acidity. A very concentrated wine. Searing acidity on the aftertaste, with a big and mouth watering finish. Very sweet at the end of the aftertaste. NR points
