Decant: Not Known - The fill of the bottle was excellent, with the level only ½" from the base of the cork. Deep red in colour and 80% opaque. Concentrated on the nose, dusty but with lots of fruit. Dry entry and dry on the mid-palate showing lots of intense black treacle and plenty of fruit. Big on the palate, big aftertaste and a long finish that is intense but lacks elegance. Some mild tannins show on the finish. 91 points
