NV Vasconcellos 40 Year Old Tawny Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 1 hour - Served blind. Pale brown colour, slight greening on the rim. A lovely colheita nose, full of toffee apples. Sweet and supple on the entry bringing lovely muscvado sugar, dried dates and walnuts. A big orange zest aftertaste preceeds a huge, tingling and delicious finish. This is a very tasty tawny. Guessed to be the Noval 40 year old. 89 points
