Decant: Pop 'n' Pour - Deep red in colour, dark centre with a firm rim; 95% opaque. Youthful nose, spicy vibrant red fruit. A lovely nose, but slightly raw. On the palate, ripe blackcurrant fruit and lively tannins that are nicely balanced. Fruit dominated palate with the fruit having great purity and focus. Good balance, if a touch youthful. Young aftertaste, a touch acidic but the a pronounced sweet blackcurrant finish. Would benefit from another 10-20 years to reach a smooth and integrated plateau. 89 points
