1963 Graham Army & Navy
3" down from cork-1 1/2 " down from shoulder.
The worst condition wine I've bought ever.
I've only had 1 bad VP(I think)in 40+ years.
It was $125 so I gambled.
Nose: Alcoholic-but nice-Nose came on great.
Color: light.
Body: light but full like a great tawny.
Taste: like a great tawny.
Aftertaste: very long.
18 1/2/20.
P.S. call me lucky-it was great.

Tried to add but format would not let me.
This was different from any 63 G I've had and there have been many.

I've had great 63 Grahams from both Berry Brothers and Oporto bottled. Army & Navy was another very well known bottler.
Re: TN:1963 Graham-My biggest Gamble!
Like Eric, I've had bottles done in Porto and also BBR labels a few times and still have one or two of those in the cellar. It is a beautiful VP. John, how long did you decant your bottle for?

John,Body: light but full like a great tawny.
Not sure I understand "light but full" ... as those two adjectives seem like opposites. Please elaborate.
