1977 Graham's Vintage Port

Post by John Vachon »

I've had this VP more than any other-est. 50-75 times-hard to est. With a future price

of $15?(twice the price of the 1975-Bassins)

Nose: big and full

Body:full

Taste: great

Aftertaste: long-intense

19 points

One of the best 77G I've had. But a few dogs also over the years-condition-condition.

A Port that is only recently, in the past 2-3 years, starting to shed some of that excessive spirit it had and is finally coming into its own. I hope it continues to shed that spirit and integrate, then it will be a fantastic VP. But it still has a ways to go before this will be up there with the greats from '77.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
