2004 Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional Douro - Portugal, Douro (8/31/2012)
Dark color. From the nose the stong oak that noted on release has all been integrated. Really inviting nose of chocolate and black cherries. Wow... is this good! Pop and Pour it appeared that this was ready to drink. Decanted for about an hour and a half. OK... it is ready to drink. The wine is totally integrated, with a lucious mouthfeel and long long finish. Very expansive and leaves you with a desire to have another sip. I love the place that this wine is right now. This was the clear favorite of the group for that night's tasting. Just a superb wine! (95 pts.)
