The Next Great 'Subscriber's Only' Buying Op

For those that have been here at for any amount of time, know that for me, this is FAIR time; my annual project that takes me away from home for about six weeks working day and night and then some. So please forgive my rare appearances here lately. I also know the next newsletter is late and I am struggling to find time to get it finished off, but somehow, I will.

OK, enough excuses from me. Behind the scenes, I have been working on the next FTLOP Subscriber's Only Port and Douro wine buying opportunity. In fact, I am doing my very best to see if I can get this to happen simultaneously in the UK and one or two other markets in the EU. I can't promise, but am really trying hard to make this work. That dynamic is very much out of my hands and I must rely on others to help.

That being said, the next offering will take place either at the very end of October or the early part of November. I can assure you the prices will be unbeatable anywhere in the world. I am working with importer/retailer and directly with the producer --- and they all want this to be a great success. It is a well established producer that you will ALL know and love. There will be DOC white and red and Reserva level Douro wines, affordable and delicious, to say the least. Additionally, there will be LBV, Colheita, VP, and three Tawny Ports with an indication of age. Sorry that it is premature to disclose a producer's name as of yet.

I asked you folks when you would be ready for the next buying op, after the last one in which you blew the doors off the Kopke/Rocha offering a few months back. The pricing here and depth of product will be equally stunning (although not going back in decades like the previous offer). Your votes and commentary clearly spoke: "the fall" ... so I've kept that in mind. This will be right before the holidays and there will be much more news to come as we get closer. I thought it would probably be a good idea to mention this now, so you could save up the sheckles as I have a feeling people will be buying cases of this juice, not just a few bottles!

Due to timing of the shipment from Portugal, and synchronization with the importer and retailer(s) involved ... the release of this buying opportunity will be pushed back to the first week of December.

Arrangements are being made to provide an immediate shipment option, or hold until the spring weather warms up a bit.
