TN: 2007 Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo Douro red

Purchased at the quinta during 2011 FTLOP Harvest Tour. Produced by Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

Decanted 2.5 hrs. Very dark red colour. Deep complex aroma of oak and berries. Full body. Quite powerful taste with a lot of fruit and minerals in the taste. A bit too much tannins. Short to medium length in finish. Nice wine, but not extraordinary. 87 pts.
