Wine Exchange

Post by Roy Hersh »

After nearly a quarter of a century of producing their print newsletter/catalogue each month (I started receiving it in 1991) Winex is finally moving to internet/email only in 2013. They're not saying exactly when it has happened, but this month they've already gone half way by cutting out all of their big lists of wines by region/grape that made 'em famous. Sad to see this go, as it will certainly significantly cut my buying from them. But I realize that must be pretty inefficient and costly, so who can blame them? [shrug.gif]

Who else is going to miss the print version?

I appreciate their e-mails as well. Some e-tailers overwhelm my inbox and as a result are often ignored. Wine Exchange puts things out with a reasonable frequency.
