NV Croft Tercentenary Tawny Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Not Known - Described on the label as "Port of Great Age"; a wood aged port with a surprising amount of sediment in the bottle. Cloudy, mid-brown in colour. Gentle toffee and lime juice on the nose, slightly dirty. Dry and slightly harsh entry, with lots of acidity on the palate - but this is followed by a very pleasant sweet yellow gooseberry. The aftertaste is lovely and the finish very tasty. This was bottle number 12252. 86 points
