1983 Offley Boa Vista Vintage Port

Decant: 2 hours - Very dark red, some touches of brown; 90% opaque. Hollow on the nose, not well developed, but this could have been inadequate decanting. Thre was some sharp redcurrant. Smooth on entry, with a nice texture, but rather one dimensional - still quite pleasant and attractive though! Strong acidity and a dry edge dominate the aftertaste, but the fruit comes through again on the fininsh. Nice port. 86 points
