NV Quinta do Portal 40 Year Old Tawny Port

Decant: Not Known - Poured by the glass by the owner of Portal restaurant in Clerkenwell.

Very light colour, pale orange and with a watery rim. Delicate VA on the nose, quietly perfumed. Light bodied, with tart quince the primary flavour on the palate. Lots of bitterness on the palate leads through to the long and bitter finish. Not a 40 year old tawny to my taste. 84 points
