1960 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 4½ hours - Mature, burnt orange colour with a pale rim - 20% opaque. Lovely toffee apple nose, with a hint of VA but very attractive. Delicious on the palate, sweet and with some thickness. Leather and dried meat dominate over a rose hip syrup. Delicious aftertaste of burnt raisins and a terrific length. Very enjoyable port. Served blind, this was guessed to be Taylor 1960. 92 points
