TN: Quinta do Noval Touriga Nacional 2008

Quinta do Noval Touriga Nacional 2008 : My first encounter with this wine. Display a higly saturated ruby/purple color, attractive nose of freslhy grounded pepper, licorice, plums, ripe cherries, rosemary. On the palate, the entry is about texture, lots of flesh, ripe tannins, mid palate is on ripe black/red fruits, dryer/bitter tannins are catching on the finish, good lenght. The palate is definitively less complex than the nose for now, acidity is low but balance is achieved with those energitic tannins. 16.5/20+
